I have been in the hair industry for over 33 years. I specialize in a variety of cutting styles resulting from my extensive training in the Vidal Sassoon and Rusk hair cutting techniques. After working for Gene Juarez Salons for 9 years, I became an independent hair stylist. I spent 4 years traveling extensively in the western states as an educator with the Rusk Educational & Design Team working hair shows and fashion events. By keeping abreast of current trends, I strive to create a style and color that is individual to each client. I am excited to create Salon Ayano and work with a group of stylists that are also dedicated to quality and integrity within the industry.
I was born into this industry! Having two parents as hair stylists growing up it was only a matter of time before I ended up behind the chair as well! Within these past 6 years of cutting and coloring hair I realized that this is the most naturally creative job for me. I enjoy working with all hair types and especially love marrying cut and color to compliment your face shape and skin tone.
The perfect new client for me is anyone seeking something new, fresh and fun! Whether it’s a total makeover, color correction or simply adding more brilliance and shine to your hair than you’ve ever had before!
Having been in the salon industry for over 35 years, I have seen many hair trends come, go, and come back again. I knew at a young age that I wanted to pursue a career as a hairstylist. There is a great feeling of accomplishment that comes in knowing your client completely trusts your cutting and coloring skills and looks
forward to their time in the salon. I am thankful to be part of one of the best salons in Seattle.
